Gregory A. Voyles

Greg Voyles graduated from Valdosta State University and received his Bachelor of Political Science in 1991. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 1998 from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida.

Mr. Voyles is a member of many professional organizations including the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Past Area Vice President), the Valdosta Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Past President), the Georgia Bar Association and the Valdosta Bar Association (Past President). He has litigated in both State and Federal court on civil and criminal matters. He is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.

Locally, Greg is active in his church and community affairs. He is a Member of the Administrative Council and a Delegate to the Annual Conference at Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Valdosta, Georgia. He participated in the #74 South Georgia Walk to Emmaus in 2008. Greg is a girl’s softball coach for the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta. He is a PTO member and a part of Leadership Lowndes. Greg is a past Board Member of the Lowndes Advocacy Resource Center, the past Chairman of the Area 15 Special Olympics Committee, and the past Coordinator of the Area 15 Special Olympic Games. He is currently a Board Member of Lowndes Education Improvement Foundations (LEIF), the Valdosta Alumni Association, and the Park Avenue United Methodist Preschool. Greg is married to Shannon Voyles, a teacher at Hahira Elementary School with whom he has two children, Madison and Lauren.
